Good day to you.

I have not been able to find a clear answer and what is required for what I want to do.
What I want to do? Well I live in a c4 and I get lonely so I want to solo some sites. I currently fly a CNR but am so close to flying a Golem.
I want to know what it takes for a GOLEM to tank and break the sleepers tank in c4 sites?
It is a black hole so torps are NOT an option.
Should I try to perma run a caldari navy x-large shield booster? I own one so that would be good.
Caldari ships are my only option.

Golem fits would be appreciated.

put a shield booster on it, maybe an invuln.
cap mods too, gonna want those.

aim for 1.5k dps omnitank and you are fine ;)

Ranges ~ 100k + for your dps
below 700 dps is just a waste of your time

Dont bother with a Torp setup. Cruise missile Golems are perfectly fine and their range makes running sites easy.

Lows will be BCS's,
Mids will be a mix of tank/shield booster, cap rechargers, target painters,
Highs will be cruise's launchers, smart bomb(s), nos's.

Make sure you have a full cap refit, full tank refit, a few mobile depots.

I'd recommend getting Mauraders to IV at least because of the hull bonus. If you can, run links as well.

The issue with the Golem is that its very tight on fitting compared to the other marauders, you might need to pimp it more to get your required fit.

Look up all the waves on eve survival
make a spreadsheet of all the dps and neut output of all the sites from games.crucker
fit the amount of tank you need and try out various weapon systems and application mods.

Large Shield Booster? No.

This is how you fit a C4/C5 site running Golem - you can de-bling it a bit but the B-Type X-Large Shield Booster and Shield Boost amps run for around 300m together and are well worth the cost.

Could I have a cap stable fit with a large smart bomb and a X-large shield booster. Also how would I battle the neuts in the sites. If anyone has done this, how many shots does it take to kill the frigs and cruisers?

I wouldn't bother trying for cap stability in a Golem, it's a pain in the ass and overrated for C4's. Fit at least 1 Heavy Nos, Faction, and use at least 1 smartbomb for the frigs. Navies will help with the cruisers, as will a TP, and don't go cheap on the booster or boost amp. A cap recharger will probably be helpful, but you want to get in close to minimize flight time and allow your Nos(s) to keep you running.
As mentioned earlier, keep extra fits in your cargo with some depots. Full cap fits, full tank fits, and whatnot so that when you catch neuts from 4 BS's you can refit for cap and keep tanking while you chew them down.

Best way to solo C4's, is to not solo them. Make friends and you will have a lot more fun doing it when you're not flying solo in a multi-billion isk ship looking over your shoulder.

Sorry but have you not heard of EFT or Pyfa. Seriously look up the dps you need to tank and figure it out. If you are worried about neuts then fit a cap booster just in case. I would actually reccomend using one anyway as youve got a huge amount of cargo.

You want 1500-2000 dps tank, you shouldnt have to deadspace or faction fit but tbh the Pith Deadspace boosters are so cheap it does help free up a lot of fitting space. Caldari Navy BCS will help with speed but they take a while to pay for themselves.
