mining yield or cycle reduce boosting device for strip miners

Hi,
I think that the latest patch where CCP nerving the mining yield is not really fair. the yield is so crap now that with my T2 and crystals I am not even getting the yield I got before the patch with T1 modules.

I think that rebalancing this is completely off.

If lowering the yield you should have brought other bonuses to the mining or put refining patch in as well. I normally with 5 mining characters and T1 fitting I fill orca with T2 boost and implant in 20-25 minutes, now with T2 modules it takes me 35 minutes.

I think this is very bad balancing and not do the miners just (spelling)

I really would like to see it properly balanced like adding a bonus to the strip miners and crystals and/or the boost modules to lower the cycle time

HTFU. Yield is fine on me test hulk ... looks to be about 2900 m3/minute ... assuming I'm doing the maths right ...


1345 m3 per 82.8 seconds ...

(granted this is spreadsheet-warrioring, and not actual in game.)

You must fly a Retreiver or Mackinaw. CCP stated that they were deliberately nerfing the yield on them somewhat to better balance them against their massive ore holds (which remained untouched). The Skiff got a slight boost (third low slow) and the Covetor/Hulk both got boosts to yield and mining range.

If you want to maximize yield, you need to take some risks and work in a gang.

Yes I fly a retriever, so does my other 4 characters all in fleet getting boost from Orca with a director skills to L5, T2 gang modules and mining director implant.

Rets got a decrease. Fly hulks. i'm pulling nearly 4k-5k every 80ish secs. Just missing the mindlink on my orca pilot...
