Texture? Hell no! What a waste of time!

Leggings can be created programmatically with shaders.
Easier to accomplish and far less designtime.

I can't agree, but I get the point.

My nylons have actual texture making it look like nylons. Same for the wooly-ish leggings.

I have more to show.
Wish I had access or tools to do it in 3D.

I am thinking up a new UI for all this. Because I can.
And the posing stage is a horrible nightmare.

The 'Strut' camo pants looks a lot like stockings (moreso than the other latex looking Strut pants).

Also, Damjan Fox posted some tutorials here about how he extracts ship 3-d resources from EVE, so maybe this method could be applied to avatars and clothes too (would be awesome..).

Yeah no, sadly not possible. Avatars are probably manipulated from some fixed models,
or who knows what they are doing for that amount of freedom for creating them,
so that's a no go.

Well ... they look like pants. Not leggings.

Leggings shouldn't have crinkles.
