Post - Kronos - TQ in VIP Mode?

Quick question - I've downloaded the 1.2Gb patch, and restarted the launcher. I see Tranquillity up, but in "VIP Mode", proceeding gives me a 'connection failed' message, and tells me that there are 17 players in-game.

What is this, and is it usual post-patch?

boot.ini - check
ship not exploding upon undocking - check
POS not shooting friendlies - check
basic test of changed mechanics - check
enabling DC forces instant criminal flag - wait, we had to test that? Oh ****.

I downloaded to 0.99 gig and now suddenly its utterly crawling like.... 0.01 Gb every few minutes?

Mine did the same the last 250Mb took ages and download speed was all over the place but it did get there in the end.

Our goon, N3 and PL overlords are "fixing" the market so to speak and spawning some more T2 BPO's. They do this every expansion.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

The downtime was announced here.

11:00 - 14:00 UTC.

If you see the server online in VIP mode with a player count, this means that the server is online, but login is restricted to developer accounts only while we test changes.

It's only when VIP is lifted that the server is available to play.
