Hey guys,

Is it still possible to fit a domi with a good shield tank for L4 missions? Saving up for a Rattlesnake and currently using a Navy Scorp but would like to get a bit more use out of drones as cruise missile's take ages to kill things

navy domi does way more dps than a rattlesnake. rattlesnake is just an expensive toy.

Yeah, I prefer missiles too (being only specced for them and no gunnery skills :()

Have another account for DPS so was just thinking of a Domi for a boost in DPS.

May just keep the Navy Scorp until I can get in a passive rattler

From what I recall of playing around with the Domi is that it is better to put an armor tank on it instead of a shield tank. This way you can fit some Omnidirectional Tracking Links to improve your drones, especially your sentry drones which you should be using for LV4s as heavies take too freaking long to reach their target to kill. The shield tank effectively kills your DPS greatly as your drones can no longer track their targets as easily, which results in you having to tank more.

So it is probably better for you to put an armor tank on it, even if your primarily specced for shield tanking. Taking a few days to get a halfway decent armor tank will pay off till you get your hands on the rattlesnake.
