Yeah, so, there's this little part in the EVE Mail settings, where it says "When notification is received: " with three lines below it and their corresponding checkboxes:

• Blink EVE Mail NeoCom button
• Blink Notifications tab
• Show pop-up

In addition to being able to check and uncheck the boxes, you can actually expand these into submenus with checkboxes corresponding to each type of notification (Agents, Bills, Bounties, Contacts, Corporate, Insurance, Miscellaneous, Old, Sovereignty, Structures and War).

I'm assuming that if I uncheck the box corresponding to War notifications under all three of these headers, then I will no longer have blinking in the NeoCom or Notifications tab (in the EVE Mail window) for these notifications, nor will I have pop-ups displayed for them.

This is not the case. Whenever I receive a war notification, my EVE Mail button still blinks, my notifications tab still blinks, and I still receive pop-ups.

I filed a bug report but due to the fact that you still haven't resolved any of the major, glaring issues you created with that system when you "updated" it I've decided to post this issue here as well.

So do I have a misconception about how these are supposed to work, or are they broken? I would really appreciate if this could be fixed. I get a ton of notifications that I'd really rather not see... I don't care who's wardeccing Goonswarm Federation nor do I need to know at all. I don't care that my share of the bounty for killing some BL grunt was 2,854 ISK. And so on.

I have the same issue with "Show pop-up". I disabled war notification pop-ups and don't get them while I play. But every time I log in again, a pop-up with war notifications appears...
