Bay for deployables

Do you hate it when you want to deploy your MTU or Depot and can't find it mixed in with all your loot? So do I. Big smile

My proposal is an either/or solution, to be honest I'm not tied to either one so long as one of them is implemented:

Option A: sticky all deployables to the top of the cargo hold inventory
Option B: provide all ships with a deployables bay. It will only hold objects which can be deployed in space, obviously limited to the size of the bay. (MTU/Secure Cans/Depots/Siphons, etc)

I believe Option B is a little more elegant but so long as my MTU and depot aren't buried under a pile of ammo and modules, I'm cool with either one.

I like option B as it fits with the way a ship would be configured. You could alternatively group all items by category and have the client remember which groups are collapsed in you inventory window.

Bay for deployables of 100-600 m3 (depending on ship size, so battleships and above can fit a large anchorable bubble into it) is a good idea. Supported.

I would say this topic belongs in Features & Ideas Discussion, not Test Server Feedback, but CCP feel free to correct me on that.
Also both options pose a good solution in my opinion.

I'd also add that an ammunition bay would to a degree have the same effect, same pool of m3 but segregating would make using modules (both deployable and otherwise) a lot easier.

Iv found Crystals to be a particular nuisance in this regard, +1 from me

Yeah, not really the correct forum, but have you tried to use the filters in the inventory window?

I have, i think its a bit unwieldy in a combat scenario, i.e. exploring in hostile space in something like a beam legion.
not only do you have to type under pressure to avoid scrolling through like 15+ non stackable crystals to find what you're looking for , you then have this popup.
point being its a fair bit of faffing about to do something fairly straightforward.
