I like making more money in 15 mins than I could make doing ANYTHING else in the game. Its silly.

The money.

Oh and the added bonus of not having to bore myself beyond stupid shooting NPCs.

I have noticed that it is a long-term game when working with very large volume.

I am considering inching into inter-regional trade, using my alt (or a reliable service)
to transport goods.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear.

I appreciate the effort and thought that needs to be put in to lucrative orders. Factoring in margin, velocity, and volatility are great brain exercises.

station trading is the most isk/hour you can make in eve but it's also the most atrocious way to spend your time Big smile

I enjoy jacking up buy orders to mess with other traders margins even though it cuts into my own profit I enjoy doing the same to others.

I've only just started such things (when not blowing up some helpless pirates here or there); and I find it both deep and enjoyable.

The competition can be fierce. There is this almost... vicious enjoyment that is borne from having to keep your orders 'on top'.
Keeping track of spreadsheets is enjoyable. The planning, the coordination, and the risks. Profits are small at first as I dip my toes in such things. It really makes for a nice change of pace from mission running, anoms, and the CTA's. (not to mention the doldrums of mining). I am looking forward to keeping on top of things in my corner of space. Sure, its slow at first, but with good guacamole, comes good transactions ( I think! ).

Anyways, I am wondering, who here enjoys playing the market?
What aspect has you most engaged?

(I am not asking for trade secrets or the like, just what you enjoy. :) )

Well just restarted and nothing changes, Jita is still horrid place.

But saying this 10 mins in jita made me awesome iskys lol, my spreadsheets need huge update since i have not played in 6months.

But so i see alot has changed in 6 months My prices are really out dated lol.
think i need to find a nice corner of space to hide in.

The colors are secretly my favourite part. I always design beautiful rainbows so I can feel good while I find out how much of my margin I just lost.

dislike spreadsheets, the 0.01 isking meta and generally sitting around in a station. I only buy to sell orders and sell to buy orders, it does require some intelligence and quick mathematics though.

The educational aspect of it, and a way to increase the isk earned elsewhere.

Recently my trader alt was hit for the first time at their chosen station with what I assume was a very skilled market pvp manipulation of a particular item, which I'll readily admit I was getting overly 'comfy' trading. I'm still looking over the trading logs to attempt to put the pattern together, but it was very well done.

Its fun when you are starting out (first 10 bill) but after that it becomes tedious even though the "rewards" increase.

Edit - oh I see, you've really only just got started. Station Trading (Jita) is generally where you end up, not start from :)

Yup, i agree. After a certain amount of billions it just gets old.
