Dear developers.


I'd like to formally request that a new keyboard short-cut is made available, that will function similarly to the current 'Assign Drones' (Default F), but will only assign ONE IDLE drone. The default could be G or could be unset, as long as it is there.

The reason for this is to allow better management of Salvaging and Mining (and to a lesser extent Combat) drones.
Currently auto-salvaging makes all drones salvage the same (closest) wreck, which leads to very low efficiency. Manually managing drones is significantly better, but:
The list of targets and the list of drones are rarely next to each other and that yields excessive mouse 'mileage'.
The other issue is the fact that 'Salvage' order is squeezed between 'Abandon Drone' and 'Scoop Drone to Cargo' both of which are all too easy to click instead.


The menu placements for objects close to the bottom-right corner of the screen (where I keep my drone view) is very dangerous, as the menu pops up BELOW the mouse, and any option that HAPPENS to be below the mouse pointer is executed. Very annoying. Opening the menu to the left side of the mouse pointer would work around this issue.


The sub-menu delay is awesome, thanks for that.
