Mass test on Singularity on Wednesday, 28th of May, at 17:00 UTC

Hi!
We are planning a mass test on Singularity on Wednesday, May 28th, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time).

What exactly is being tested?
  • Last checks on stability and performance for the Kronos release
  • Slightly modified warp tunnel
  • Audio performance in fleet-fight situations
  • Stability and performance of the Mac client


How to connect to Singularity for this test:

Test steps:

  • Meet in FD-MLJ at the gate to X-BV98
  • Jump to X-BV98
  • Align to planet 6
  • Warp to POS beacon
  • Shoot the control tower
  • Short NPC fight
  • Align to Poitot gate
  • Fleet W: Jump to Poitot and setup gate camp
  • Fleet X: Jump to Poitot + fight at the gate


What else should I know?
  • We will be moving players to the test system - join the channel massmoveme
  • 2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test
  • Bring many different ships. Cynos will be provided

I guess there'll be at least one additional patch deployed to Sisi between now and Mass Test?
Letting the test client get the update in time should be a good idea for anyone interested in participating then.

I assume that there will be two more updates before the mass test, but I hope we can do them both in the morning to allow to patch early.

sorry for a noob question but this will be my first mass test.

when I lose a ship during the test, do I also lose it on the real server?

Nothing on the test server will affect your character on the real server. You can lose as many ships as you want and you can replace them very easily as nearly all items are sold for 100 isk.

will you be activating characters that want to participate in this mass test? put in a request a few days before the previous test and no reply or activation? Just like to know is all

Will you be granting the Medium Drone Control skill to participants, as with the last mass test? If not, can we request that ahead of time? (I'm missing that book and would like it even more than 2M skillpoints)

I would like to bring a Supercap, but its still 12 days till it's finished :/
Any chance that it could get speed up, otherwise i will just use a normal carrier.

Join the channel "moveme" and read the motd for instructions on how to get that Skill applied to your character.

had some problems with our russian online wallet(yandex) cause due to the new law they wanted my personal information (cant say they're trusted enough to give it). found a way to pay for subscription without giving my personal info but just yesterday and cant connect to sisi, writes i need to subscribe. the question is will it be okay after downtime or i need to write some petition or like that?

My guess is you will miss the test. There will probably still be a lot of people pewing. Whether either of those is a problem is your call. Smile
