Would you use a .1 m3 Cargo in your capsule?

Capsules currently don't have any cargo space available to them. What if there was a .1 m3 cargo space? A virtual "Glove box", would you find a use for it? Or would it be a waste with no real use?

I personally think it would be cool to put an array of boosters in there, you know, just in case.

Would make podmails a little more interesting.

You have my support.

Sounds good. But make it 0.21m3, that's enough space for some Tobacco and a PLEX.

That it would, never though of it in that way and I'm sure it would only be a matter of time before someone get a very nice drop from a podkill.

Can you imagine a dozen plex or a T2 BPO or a mining foreman mindlinnk someone thought would be safe in their pod cargo, lol.

Granted your limited pod cargo space would be a sort of a cargo liferaft once your main ship explodes but once again, nothing in Eve is safe.

I support the glove box idea. I think it would be beneficial for blue prints of an expensive sort.

I see no reason not to.

On one hand, pods are extremely safe (albeit slow) to travel in outside of nullsec, if you have gate and station bookmarks.

On the other hand, a single unlucky sneeze and they pop.

So some people may find it useful, while others will have an extra reason to hunt pods. Also, adding a small cargo will likely be as easy as changing a database value from zero to something (unless pods are treated differently from all other ships).

yeah, cause someone will fly around with a T2 BPO in there.

Problem is when you board a ship, your capsule will effectively get deleted and replaced with the ship. It would require a entirely new system of cargo storage to keep your 0.1m³ in the glove box.

I would support this if you can't board a ship and would have to fly around in your pod.

But is your capsule not "docked" inside of the ship you are in? Therefore the .1 m3 cargo should still be accessable reguardless of thee ship you are in. If you are real quick you should be able to transfer .1 m3 of cargo from your ships hold into your pods just before it goes "pop" and you are thrown fron the ship in your pod.

So for BPOs etc to drop you need to blow up the ship AND the pod?

You'd just end up with two Fedos and no Dancer.

No support. This gives players running items a second chance to survive and make the trip successfully.

Players need to have consequence for their actions, and allowing them to haul expensive bpos, capital skillbooks, etc in a pod w/shuttle isn't the way to go.
