Hello, we are codename-47 wormhole corp, we're kinda new-ish, looking for da helpful advices on making it big in wormholes!
We currently live in a C4>C3, and I am wondering what the next steps would be to expand/grow from there. From what we have heard, the next step would be to get caps & pilots, and move into a C5.
Many thank for advice!

Firstly welcome.

Secondly, just have fun see what WH's are all about and build yourself a nice core group of players. C4>C3 is a nice place to start and grow from. If you get a taste for C5 life and are to scared to make the leap you can always get to know some of the larger groups and do sleepovers and join in on OPs, (We all love the extra firepower).

I am C5 for life but don't feel like its where you have to be, its not for everyone.

I was informed that, I quote, "If you dont fully escalate home sites, its a waste of isk." so, if I move into a C5 and we have minimal cap pilots, 1, will we get **** on by bigger people? And 2, would it be a huge waste of money to get a wormhole, and not be able to fully escalate all of its sites in the beginning?

I have always been intrigued by C5 wormholes, but I always have this imminant sense of being dropped on by T3 blobs (albeit not big to you, big to our small group) so is that just live in C5's, should we expect to lose lots of T3's?
Also, I really would like to get to know lots of the bigger WH players, but I'm not to sure how to go about this

You are always vulnerable when escalating home sites more so when you have minimal pilots but then if you have too many it becomes not so profitable to do so its a fine balance you will have to find that suits you and your group. There is a great misconception that the minute you move to C5 space people are looking to evict you, its not the case just explore around have some fun fights.

You will make more ISK in a C5 to be able to afford T3 and cap losses, but try out the ishtar when outnumbered by the T3 blobs.

Also feel free to hang in our pub and talk ****. "Rolled Out"

Some say its a isk loss to not maximize PI and haul every day. You can perfectly live in a c5 and just run statics with domis or something. Its really just up to you and what you find fun. Imo a regular daily fleet of aprox 10 people makes a good foundation for pew in c5 space so no need to hurry on before you reach that point. Avoid smacking and mocking others and you will avoid most reasons for eviction. Just do your own things. Take the fights you want and just enjoy the game.

The best way to get to know corps is to be a pub chat whore. You run into someone? Check for a pub chat and hang out. Eventually you have more chats than you know what to do with, but you'll make some friends along the way. Shotgun approach and all that.

Never be afraid to put up a fight, even if you are outnumbered and means you will likely die. You will get a feel for how WH fleets work and will gain respect from other entities, which in the long run is beneficial to you in various ways.

Nice to see some new faces after all the circle-jerk and smack talking...

My advice would be to train your pilots up to t3/ guardian and some kind of shield equivalent while recruiting to get a decent size of people. This way you can reliably field a small- medium gang that knows each- other well, can PvP together and farm your static for quick ISK.

When you realise you have more people than a c3 static can comfortably keep entertained- that's when it's time to move to a bigger and more difficult system.

I'm speaking from experience- I was part of a c2-c4 group that grew too big for the system and needed more challenges so I moved onto a c6 to learn all I could and then the corp followed me and some other guys after we explained how good it was!

However- you need to build up that strong group of people before you move into a higher class. Nothing worse than having stuff to shoot and nobody to come shoot at it with you :/

Good luck and hit me up in- game if you need to talk more (im not an expert on everything but I like to help out where I can!)

Welcome, looking forward to your growth and development to get to a point where you can join the Sh*t-show of C5 space. Despite all of the poo-flinging I think we are all pretty much one big happy family.

Welcome to w-space guys. If you do ever need any help just post here or ask any of the other groups in pub channels etc - despite all the trolling and name-calling that does happen on the forums in this section, everyone is very helpful and willing to help out.
