In-Game Events and Gatherings

What is a AT lottery? Well, Clockwork Pineapple has decided that we want to raise some additional funds heading into this alliance tournament in expectation of progressing farther into the tournament then we did in our inaugural run last year. We did quite well despite it being our first run, finally getting knocked out after getting surprised by a clever bit of comping on Verge of Collapse's part.

Last year we used just shy of 50b isk on ammo, drones, ships and mods for our run which we already have matched this year. To go farther though, we're going to need more ISK and rather than do something terrible like a couple months of wormhole day trips, we decided we'd do something much more fun and entertaining which also meant that we weren't wasting valuable practice time.

We're going to be offering a lottery with 50 tickets, each one 500m each. What does this ticket get you? Well, if we get 1st or 2nd place, we will be giving away 5 of the ships, one each to five randomly chosen tickets. If the people purchasing the tickets prefer, we'll even be happy to have a nuetral party such as chribba, darkness or someone similar draw the numbers for the winning tickets. If we don't get into first or second place, we will be returning all isk sent in for the lottery upon the conclusion of the tournament.

For those of you questioning why we should be at all worthy of receiving isk for an AT run, consider the following. We have several members who have taken part in either one or both neos, including our team captain and 3 of our fcs, plus we have a large amount of regular players with tournament experience from various SCLs (on the No Boundaries and Rep Cartel teams) , both NEOs (Same teams as the SCLs) and our own previous AT run. And every member of our alliance has quite a bit of experience flying in small gang PVP due to our home being in Syndicate, one of the most famous small gang PVP areas featuring other tournament veterans like Rote Kapelle.

Everything. with the reason of AT XII Lottery followed by the ticket numbers you are purchasing (So a purchase of tickets 4 and 20 would look like AT XII Lottery 4,20) and post in this thread with the tickets you would like to purchase along with the name of the character sending the isk in game.
