Why have I never been offered a bribe? Sad

This has been fun though, thanks McMorris.

Shooting one's self in the foot doesn't even begin to do justice to OP's failed scam. Curious for those who accessed his wallet transactions, were there any actual donations from non-alts?

The McMorris Mutual Investment Fund: Financial Update

Total capital held (as of 28/05/2014): 26,400,000,000
Withdrawals over last 7 days: 300,000,000 ISK.
Total number of investments made over last 7 days: 32
Total number of loans issued over last 7 days: 2

Projects for next week:
- 27 billion ISK in total held capital.
- First major withdrawals will be seen, as only unofficial withdrawals were made over the last 7 days since the bi-weekly period was not complete.

Despite initial scepticism, the fund is chugging along nicely and we hope to see many more investors get on board.

Here is my constructive post so I don't get hit with a bat:

These numbers seem highly factitious, I can't imagine people are actually giving you isk without you giving them collateral. And another pointer, if you're going to give some sort of a report, dont give rounded numbers. Creating artificial numbers like 300,000,000 just makes it seem desperate in my opinion.

And I'll just humor you since you REALLY are trying to have a go at this:

- First major withdrawals will be seen, as only unofficial withdrawals were made over the last 7 days since the bi-weekly period was not complete.

What is the difference between official and unofficial withdrawals?

Good question, sorry for not explaining this earlier.

As you'll notice, the website and thread state that withdrawals can be made bi-weekly. Obviously, this was the first week the fund had been in operation - so no withdrawals should have technically been made that week. However, due to the accusations being made by a minority of users on this thread, many people felt quite insecure about their investments - so I allowed withdrawals to be made on request.

e: I'm in the process of kickstarting huge transparency reforms within the bank to become it both more flexible and more accessible.

Just so we're on the same page here, when you say website, is this the same website that you used for your isk doubling services previously pointed out by detective Norn?

I really don't understand this accusations or where they're coming from. Let's focus on some more positive (and actually REAL) news.

McMorris V2 has launched!

New features?
- Completely redesigned investment dashboard.
- Newly added FAQ that addresses popular concerns.
- Streamlined registration system.
- Increased flexibility with investments (custom investments now accepted).

Found any bugs with V2? Send me a mail in game.

That's too bad. I suppose if you cast a wide enough net into a murky stream you're bound to catch a couple of tadpoles.

I am not a rich player. I don't make enough ISK in game to pay for my account, so I have to pay real money. This bank offers to pay a 20% monthly return. I am thinking if I buy 5 plex, sell them for ISK, and invest it all here then I should get enough back each month to pay for a plex, which I could use to pay for my account. Or to allow for future increase in plex price, and months with more than 30 days, and to have some extra spending ISK each month, maybe I could do it with 6 - 8 plex. It would be a lot of money for me to pay up front, but it should cover my account costs forever.

The problem is that it just sounds too good to be true. Am I being too skeptical?

Without any history of sustainability, profit or reputation who nominated McMorris Inc. as #1 in eve. (Serious question)
From what I've seen over the last decade or so, I've been the only one to actually run a successful investment bank that didn't end in a scam or failure.

Not trolling, just feel like asking a few questions, even I started at the bottom.

Not possible on MD (and EVE in general).

Keep a good hold on that skepticism sir. It will be your savior in this treacherous pit of temptation and deception.
