Characters I actually play are usually male. Characters I use for market trading, research, etc are usually female. If all I'm doing is mundane tasks, I might aswell have something nice to look at(and it is the only time I have WIS active).

I cringe every time I'm on coms with a dude who rolled a female toon. Calling an obviously 250 pounds black bouncer, with the voice to match (think Ving Rhames) , Stephanie with a straight face is just to much for me to handle.

You can call him Stephen or Stefan. If he's good enough to have in a fleet then my humble opinion is it doesn't matter what he rolled. Of course it could help if both of you can get some mutual laughs out of it beforehand..
