Personally I'd like to forget CCP compromising their product for the authoritarian Chinese government to the point of canning one of EVE's most defining features (one single sharded universe) as much as possible.

The other option would have been to simply not have chinese players play EVE at all.

When they first announced serenity in 05 I think I was excited, I wanted to shoot missles up the Chinese players tail pipes and welcome then to eve... then heard that no it will be its own server and was disappointed. I like hearing about the stories from there, and there alliances and culture ingame seem interesting, though I think they take eve a tad too serious there. But the two should merge damn it

It would never work out and we would get our asses handed to us on Traq. The Chinese players would take a month off from the fake Nike's and knockoff xboxes sweatshops just to be online.

I have removed some rule breaking posts and those quoting them. As always I let some edge cases stay.
