on the corax I have Stasis webifier, small shield extender, adaptive invulnerability field, microwarpdrive, ballistics control system and an overdrive injector.

Rapid light missile launchers are for cruisers. Here a list of popular RLM ships

Caracal
Scythe Fleet
Osprey Navy
Caracal Navy Issue
Cerberus

hope that helps.

PS. Don't have an invuln on a destroyer. Really not worth it. Also consider dropping the BCS if you want more tank, and replace with a dmaage control. If you are looking for a light missile destroyer, heretic is by far the best.

...uh...dropping a BCS for a damage control, while dropping an invuln, is a bad idea.

Keep the invuln, keep the BCS.

actually depends on what he wants to do. in pvp your fit would be weaker for pve i never used a corax.

[Corax, PVP]

7x Rocket Launcher II (Scourge Rage Rocket)

Limited 1MN Microwarpdrive I
Medium F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction
X5 Prototype Engine Enervator
J5b Phased Prototype Warp Scrambler I

Damage Control II
Ballistic Control System II

Small Ancillary Current Router I
Small Core Defense Field Extender I
Small Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I

i know he prefers the lm range, but this is one i liked.

No it really is a good idea. Destroyers dont have the cap, or the buffer to make use of the invuln. It is much better to have an MSE or MASB or even a web. Dropping the BCS for a DCU is nice, if you plan to honor tank, and not have any other tank mods. Corax is a very slow ship. ODI, while not the best choice- might be nice if you are planning to kite around AB frigs / Linked AB frigs.

The next step up from Corax is the Caracal. It does represent a significant investment over a Corax. You will need to buy more damage and tank modules in addition to the more expensive hull, but it is worth it. Look at EVE University for some fitting suggestions.

Keep flying the Caracal until you have the skill and money to fly a Cerberus.

@ OP if you want fits tell us PvE or PvP and in what manner it is being used.

Ratting? Missions? High sec wars? Low sec? Null sec? Gank fit?
Things of that nature. Size of targets would help too.

The next step can include training Gallente frigate and cruiser to V and get your hands on the coming Mordus ships.

But if you are young don't worry about that yet and keep your focus on the missile train and fitting skills.

Eve Minions is recruiting.
