I did some tests on sisi. It doesnt work on anything smaller than a large tower and even on a large tower i came really close (3140m) with an inty bumbing into the forcefield. it did not manage to launch anything, so thats something. i am not entirely sure that nobody will be able to come up with a special bumbing technique to launch stuff...so i guess we will have to wait and see


CCP Fozzy said at fanfest that you wouldn't be able to access anything regardless off the size of the hitbox. If you do not have right the POS password entered into your ship you cant access any of the things inside the POS shield.


well thats not how it was implemented. they just tuned down the sig of the XL SMA that you are not able to get within 3000m without the POS password on a large POS. Still no problem to access XL SMAs without FF password on medium or small POS.

This, soo much this. One of the designers of w-space, greyscale, doesn't even know about some of the oddities of w-space.
FFS, apparently us players know more about w-space mechanics that the dev who designed the damn thing.
