So, why haven't we been sued yet for €1.2 or whatever it is 30m isk is in real money?

That is, if you could legally turn 30m isk into a real currency.

The Goons are a part of my chosen coalition, I will not waste my time explaining why, I don't have the word power, time or inclination. It is what's best for me.

I also applied to the Goons once, they asked for isk, I strung them along as far as I could. The chat wasn't too bad.

I knew that moment was a turning point for me.

I knew if I paid I would not be in my chosen coalition.

It amazes me that QQ is going on over goons taking isk for enlistment and scamming people and still getting away with it. If you havent read any threads over the last years about this topic, you deserve to get scammed. All you have to do is google goonswarm and the forst 5 listings are threads about them scamming. Put the crying to a end already..

The only incorrect thing in your post. Oral contracts have the exact same force as written contracts (the details are harder to prove) and are litigated upon every day. An oral agreement is a contract if it meets certain requirements. So, while the recruitment scam is perfectly fine (and hilarious) in game, in RL trying things like it and defending yourself with "But I didn't sign anything" will get you laughed out of the courtroom (into jail, possibly).
