I have a MSI GT70 Dominator laptop with Nvidia 870M graphics cards, quadcore i7, and 16GB of ram and is running windows 8.1. MSI has SteelSeries keyboard on this laptop and it uses the Steel Series software. I also have Eve Online through Steam.

When I am in game on my laptop and I push a key, say Esc to open the settings, it will sometimes work and other times I will have to hit it 5 or so times to get it to respond. This is true of every key binding in the game.

I have only experienced this issue with Eve Online, they keyboard works perfect in every other application and game I run. I have tried turning off steam overlay, clearing the in game cache, and turning off the steel series software. The issue persists in light of that,. Any suggestions to fix this would be awesome, I really cant be having the delay in the middle of PvP fleets or incursioning.
