How to access the New Eden Store
- Select the New Eden Store Button on the character selection screen.
OR
- Select the New Eden Store in the Neocom under 'business'

The New Eden Store is available on SISI now, and we will be collecting feedback here.

Thanks!

Both methods net me this screen

Unable to access the store atm, "unavailable" from character select screen and from in-game Neocom menu. I used the Launcher to log in.

I purchased an item (on the previous build), and saw a nice confirmation window, with a green checkmark, and an icon of the item below. The green checkmark suggests "click me to close this window" but is not a button.

I didn't notice a close or dismiss button on the purchase confirmation window. I clicked on the background, and this seemed to dismiss the confirmation.

Please make the green checkmark into a close or dismiss button (with a tooltip); I suggest reversing the order of the purchased-item icon and checkmark UI elements, so the checkmark / close button is at the bottom of the window.

acces button bounces left and right after window resize: changing between window and full and back again. Store is still down. that screen needs a upper right X.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. We are investigating an issue that is making the store unavailable, and I'll post again here when it is resolved.

I'm glad the store moved to the base Neocom menu. I don't think anyone has ever used the business tab for anything before.

The patch today also looks like it restored the store. I'm able to access it just fine now.

In station I don't mind it being a full screen but out in space it is unpleasant that it changes the screen from in space to the store.

I think that the ship skins for some such as the Kador are washed out looking in store compared to their in game look.

I think the neocom button is good but a station button also makes sense.

Should there be some type of warning or notification that these skins are not permanent? A lot of complaint about ship skins has been the fact that they are disposable. People may not realize that they are not buying a skin in the same manner that they buy clothing. I think that some type of notification may help with conflict and complaint further down the line.

Yep, that's correct, the new build has fixed the issue and the store is available again. It also now has an updated and extended catalog! Lol

I tested it abit and bought a lot of clothes. It seems to be very slow and got stuck for a while at one of the purchases. In my opinion it was a bit annoying that the purchase window didn't close by itself when an item has been purchased.

The new eden store looks pretty nice - sleek design, nice animations, tho, they seem to lock you out of control until they are completed - some people don't have much tolerance for that and want to be done with their business quickly.

Had problems with redeeming items. The redeem items window would come up but the redeem items button would not work unless I unchecked one of the items and rechecked it. Only after that could I actually redeem the items I bought.

Also will these new clothing items be available for trade on the market? I have bought my entire selection of clothes entirely on the market and not have spend a single AUR on any of them would still like the ability to do this.

I went to the store from the character selections window. How are you supposed to scroll down? Nevermind.

I was in the middle of writing this post, taking a screenshot, then finally noticed the lightly colored scroll bar. I've been at the store a few times and just gave up trying to find a scroll bar. Anyway to make it more obvious?

Wait, wait! A clothing item that isn't a reskin of the same couple-dozen items? ;)

Interestingly none of the new clothing items are the ones from the accidental SiSi leak a few years ago.

you really want to do this one-click-buy thing? Without confirmation or shopping cards? I mean even the ingame market has two clicks minimum before you have something bought.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Agree with Bienator II that a shopping cart and/or purchase confirmation second click is needed.

Agree with scimichar about scroll bar.

Scroll bar for item grid is hard to identify as a scroll bar, at first glance.
It's too stealthy to see right away, and too narrow to rapidly mouse over and click on.
Please increase width 2x or 3x, and move it beside the item grid so that it stands out as a control.
I think the design is trying to hide UI and controls as much as possible, but users still need good hints.

Keyboard shortcuts? Page Up / Page Down or arrow keys do not scroll the item grid.

Mouse navigation path through item purchase window is not optimal. (More user "work" than necessary.)

The controls suggest I click "buy now" at the bottom, and then mouse all the way up to the small X at top right, to dismiss the purchase window. A first-time user may not know that clicking beside / behind the popup also closes it.

Please use the nice friendly green checkmark as an alternate "close window" control, or create a new "close window" button that appears in the same location as "Buy Now." This would enable more rapid mouse navigation.

Purchase window popup has an icon for item, below the description. On mouse hover over the item icon, the mouse cursor changes to indicate more information might be available, perhaps a right click menu. Please don't change the mouser cursor on hover if no further info is available, or consider disabling the animation / effect on mouse hover.

Excuse me!! Hello!!! *jumps around*

I made this thread in GD where I asked about the red skirt,
and now I installed Singularity and there's only the structure one available!

Will you have the standard/leather red skirt up as well?

Thanks!

And what about white skirts??? :D

I was about to file a bug that the X to close purchase windows was inoperative, when I realized that the actual problem is that after you buy something, they're inactive until you've seen the animated checkbox, the little thumbnail, and the text which fades in every single time to tell you that the item can be found in your redeeming queue.

There are a number of ways to address this. The most straightforward would be to not have the X visible while clicking on it does nothing. Even more straightforward would be to move the notification about the redeeming queue out of that window (but not into a modal dialog--maybe a tooltip that pops up to tell you that you've already purchased 1x Men's 'Curate' Coat (Dark Bronze) and it's waiting for you in your redeeming queue?)

Also, the Men's 'Esquire' Coat (Red/Gold) is actually Green/Gold. I assume that's a copy-paste thing until the Red/Gold variant is ready?

I can't resist: The description for Men's 'Strider' Pants (Graphite) begins: "Be ready for battle in our military-grade patented 'name' pants." Lol

MOAR EDITS: Redeeming 27(!) items from the NES, I find the "Redeem Selected Items" button is so unresponsive it doesn't even get a pointer cursor, just the crosshairs. Deselecting all 27 and then selecting 1 item activates the button. Selecting the remaining 26 and pushing the button works as expected.
