Pretty much this, riot can offer far above anything CCP can ever hope to offer sadly so only the truly dedicated devs would turn it down, sadly riot isn't exactly what i would consider a "good point" on a resume anymore, they inhale developers and then end up showing very little for it, their client is a mess, their API is a joke, sadly riot is ruled by their shareholders and shareholders rarely know anything about balance or features when they make demands :)

I'm not sure if I were looking for a job that I'd value Riot too highly. Sure, they may have one of the most popular games right now, but that's pretty much all the have. If League of Legends were to lose a large chunk of its fanbase (and face it, with fickle gamers, all it could take is a particularly bad patch/revamp that the majority hates), what are they going to do? Probably start laying off a ton of their new hires. Hopefully the companies they were poached from won't take them back, because Riot is the devil Oops
