Right click a ship in the market and select 'Show Info' then switch to the Fitting tab. Notice that it tells you how much CPU, powergrid and calibration you have. It also tells you how many high, low, medium and rig slots you have.

However, for turrets and missiles in the space where it should display how many turret or missile hardpoints you have, instead it just shows a picture of a turret or missile. Obviously it should display how many hardpoints you have.

Should be fairly simple to fix.
Jump to it.

It does, with white circles (to indicate empty hardpoints) or white dots (to indicate filled hardpoints). It doesn't play nicely with T3s, though, because their hardpoints vary based on their subsystems.

Yes I know, and it's cretinous.

Ok, well it being a poor method of display is different than it NOT displaying. The latter is a bug, the former is poor but intentional design.

Stating it as a bug will simply get it ignored. Different team.

It will get ignored no matter how it's raised... as it was when it was first introduced and the community's reaction was general incredulity and requesting that it be reverted.
