gnosis for c3?

any recommendations for a gnosis fit for c3? im aware there are better ships like a tengu or proteus but I am spesifically asking for gnosis in this thread.

I was thinking of doing a passive recharging shield tank

and with heavy missiles, or heavy assault I haven't decided since I know some spawns far away.

also a small or medium shield transfers for small 2-3 man fleets.

I don't think the Gnosis can get a passive tank high enough for C3s. Also, keep in mind that the Gnosis's primary weapon system is drones, and sleepers hate drones.

You'd probably be better off with a Drake.

With a fleet with shield transfers going you might be able to do C3s in a Gnosis, but using a passive shield tank solo it's quite terrible, you need to use every single slot for tanking to get an adequate tank which makes your dps anemic.

I noticed they wreck drones in c6s, but I haven't seen them ever agro drones in c3

that's why I was thinking shield bc with 6 low slots I can do 2-3 bcu and rest to the shield tank

The Drake can fit a significantly stronger passive tank using 1 low slot than the Gnosis can fit using 3. If you drop down to only 2 BCU on the drake, you can have a 420 passive omnitank, while the Gnosis only gets 235 passive omnitank with 2 BCU.
