New Ship Models? (Moa, Typhoon and Condor)

I just want to add my congrats to the texture artist who did the new Eagle. Looks beautiful, in fact, one of the coolest looking ships in EVE now.

I think he means the Moa (and only the original Moa for the time being) which fold her wings closer to the hull when she goes to warp.

If you know Star Trek Voyager tv show, the Entrepid Class USS Voyager does it too when she is about to warp.


It is soo cool to watch it just for the sole reason to watch it again and again.

Cool, haven't grabbed one of those on SiSi yet, good to hear that that one is animated as well. I wonder if the BS also has moving parts. ^_^

It's not in Kronos, is it? I think the concept art was shown at fanfest to give a glimpse of what they're working on next.

The Talos was a surprise- I don't see the change documented anywhere from CCP's side, so I'm assuming it was caught by rather astute and thorough capsuleers. Leaves me wondering if there's been any other ninja changes...

Plus having the bulkhead door close over the drone bay when going into warp on the new Phoon model is pretty cool :)

As of yesterday I have seen and flown the finished Gila model and she fold her wings now too! I haven't looked at the Eagle yet but I will today.

I find the folding radiator things on the Talos (engine pods) and Typhoon (next to the drone bay) quite a nice touch, took me a while to see that the entire center turret assembly on the Talos moves forward when in Warp.

Also, the heat haze on the radiator rings on the back of the Oracle is quite a nice touch.
