If you attack a criminal fighting somebody else the criminal can attack you aswell due to limited engagement. But if you remote rep somebody fighting criminal, instead of just him being able to attack you with limited engagement you become criminal ?

Can anybody explain why?

Why is this different from repping somebody at war whereby thier war targets and only them can attack you for repping thier war target.

The "why" is that they tried looking to do just passing on LE timers, but found the system could easily get really screwed up trying to pass on the proper timers down a list.

Personally, when I thought RR against someone in an LE gave LE to the repper, I thought about dueling my alt in a mining barge, taking damage, warping to a belt with an orca that I scanned and found a remote shield booster on it, askking for reps cause (some crazy rats attacked me) and when he takes the LE, I'd kill him with my main.

Unfortunately, it was not meant to be. Orcas don't tend to fly around with safety yellow.


Oh, also, repping a war target makes you go suspect.

Also, please learn the difference between Criminal, GCC, and suspect flags.
