Updating SiSi now... have flare graphics (lights, engines, lasers, etc) been fixed so they correctly layer over the TOP of models like they do in the Windows client or do they still clip through stuff?

This is all to do with Shader settings on AMD/ATI cards on Mac clients being constrained to Medium at best. If you have an nVidia card then the settings can be set to High. At the moment there are no plans to remove the constraint for performance reasons on these AMD/ATI based Macs.

By fix, what are you referring to, specifically?

For me it was just running the Sisi launcher. After Sisi updated and I ran it, my TQ client no longer will work. The launcher starts up but after entering my password and hitting play it just shuts down now.

Also ran the repair tool and it didn't help.

Hi Lord Taca,

There's a possibility that it may have changed a key value in the config file for EVE under Application Support. Could you try the following out for me please?

1. Open Terminal
2. Type “cd Library/Application\ Support/EVE\ Online/
3. Type "open config"
4. In the resulting document (Which should be opened in a text editor), find this section:
[Drive E]
“Path” = “@tmp@”
“Type” = “hd”
“Label” = “tmp”
“Filesystem” = “win95”

5. Change the line “Path” = “@tmp@” to “Path” = “/tmp”
6. Save and close the file.

Run Singularity's launcher again and it should connect. Be sure that the " marks used are the same as other marks in the config file.

Makes no difference for me

having the same problem. after applying the latest Sisi update, TQ no longer works.

When I click 'Play' on the TQ launcher the message 'Launching...' message comes up, then goes away, but the Eve client never initializes.

the only fix I found was to either delete ~/Library/Application Support/Eve Online or roll back using Time Machine to before I launched Sisi.

Could you let me know what launcher version you are running? It's shown in the top left of the launcher window.

What seemed to work for me to get everything back to running WITHOUT touching config files is:

1. Open Terminal
2. Type “cd Library/Application\ Support/EVE\ Online/"
3. Type "ln -s /tmp @TMP@"

4. start your eve client

This seems to have helped some others, too. I can now connect to both SiSi and TQ again with the respective clients.

Sure, not sure if you saw all the other threads popping up but it appears any mac user who has used the new Sisi update has lost their TQ client.

I did this and it worked.

SISI is performing way better than previously.

-but seriously, can't you make something a little more native than this? Windows version is in a different league on the same hardware.
