Hey guys,

Currently when trading characters on the Bazaar, you have to give out your account name. This has always made me feel just a bit uneasy. I propose a new security feature - Account Identification Number/Code/PIN/we to add a layer of privacy and security to this.

My idea is basically

  • The AIN is linked to the account, and for purposes of transactions such as character transfers, acts as an identifier/destination.
  • The AIN is unique to that account, and can be updated (set to a new number) any time (except during active transfers).
  • A history of AIN's is viewable in the account manager and to CCP.
  • AIN possibly required for log-in?
