My Thorax is suffering from some TFS (Terrible Fit Sickness) and I think I am just going to head to LoSec and put him out of his misery. With his death, my new PVE boat will be a Myrmidon and I wanted to ask for T1/M4 fitting suggestions as a drone boat. I'm specced into T2 light and medium Gallente drones and T1 heavy drones.

Depends whether you have skills for armor or shield tank or both, but this is a good place to start: http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Myrmidon

For PvE you'll probably want sentry drones as well.

Depends, what kind of PVE is it? WH, Null ratting, Level 4's, Level 3s?

I'm stuck in Lv. 1 missions ATM but I will be into Lv. 2's soon. I get about 30k ehp and around 300 dps total. I will put down the whole fitting after I get on next time.

I am working on getting my standings up so I can do the higher level missions. The majority of my time up til now has been industry/ mining.

As far as the fitting, I am thinking of changing one of the Omnis into an afterburner. I also would like ideas on rigs.

it takes a long time to lock frigates with a bc and the application of damage from medium and large drones takes a long time to happen.

a level one mission where you are actually damaging npcs will not break the shield on a myrmidon either, so you can probably have 4 drone damage amplifiers, 2 tracking enhancers (so you guns can shoot something your drones aren't), 2 sensor boosters, an MWD and 2 nav comps with a ccc to run the mwd, and a couple of warp speed rigs to cut down all that warping time.

With specific regards to your level 2 fit, I wouldn't bother with omnis if you aren't using sentries, I wouldn't fit a plate to a PVE boat, and I wouldn't use 250mm against mostly frigates.

This is an appalling fit. Do not use it.
You should almost never mix tank types.
You have buffered shield, buffered armour and active armour.
The myrm gets a bonus to armour repping so you should use an active armour fit.

Rigs.

3rd either a overclocking if you have CPU issues or a nanobot accelerator.

Drones.
Use 4 mission specific sentries. (sentry trained to at least 4 and use the faction ones if you can't use T2).
Have a flight of medium and a flight of light if small ships het too close and you can't hit them.
You should have room for a flight of salvage drones if you want.

This will do far better dps than your proposed fit and have a far better tank.
It will do level 3's with ease and maybe able to try some level 4's but you will be better switching to a domi for those and luckily your new sentry skills already make it easy to train into that.
When you can T2 fit this (except the guns which don't matter on a drone boat) just train Gallente BS to 4 and voila level 4 ready.
