My problem is that the tooltips on the mini-containers from Data and Relic sites are *MUCH* slower than the old name popups - making it much much more difficult to find and click on the mini-containers that you need to retrieve. MUCH slower.

Yep, it is not good when the first scatter container you click / hover over opens a roadside billboard that blocks your view of all the other containers then takes 5 seconds to open when you finally see another container. CCP, you killed relic and data sites :(

Also, not getting an active range readout in real time for the scatter containers now makes it hard to judge what you need to snag first. Fail all around I'm afraid.

I do not need to suffer. Quit game button still works as intended. Sandbox.
Can you link info about this two more weeks? Kronos is moved to july and it supposed to be implemented with it.

Cons of this new pop up:
- Fraction of a second delay on clicking something so you can read it in the overview. When you're "MOVING", this makes the task akin to dialing a phone with gloves on

Pos of the new pop up:
+ When "SITTING STILL" in space looking around at a cluster of planets, it's easier to select the moon you were after.

Please look into that micro-delay and perhaps allow us to have the window transparent?

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

I think they should just remove the popups in space and make it the way it was before. It was perfectly fine and this -looks- perfectly alright but I really really doubt anyone has bothered 'testing' this extensively because despite looking neat, it is an absolutely horrible thing for when you actually have to use it (because they got rid of the old thing)

It was perfectly fine except for the times when you had a big number of brackets grouped up, which would cause a completely broken list that showed you a random part of the full list, glitchy as hell. The new scrollable list fixes that.

But it is indeed horrible to use due to many reasons already explained, and indeed it seems it wasn't tested very much. I don't think they should simply remove it though, just needs more work. Perhaps roll back to previous version untill the new one is actually ready.

I like how when I click on a nearby ship, The transparent (for lack of words) version tells me what/who it is. THEN the tooltip blacks out everything and TELLS ME THE SAME EXACT THING.

Yeah sure, this isn't broken. CCP, you NEED to roll back this tool tip problem asap because it's not useful in any way. The old system, even with it's tiny shortfalls, was still 100x better than this current hot mess.

On a side note. I really hope this isn't the kind of thing you're going to release 10 TIMES A YEAR under the new 'patchspansion plan'.

Ugh

Forget trying to target multiple targets that are close to eachother using your interface. You will be lucky to target just one before the tooltip cockblocks you.

Also, its so nice that when using multiple clients, the tooltips remain open blocking important stuff (like your local view) while you are using another client/screen.

Options are good. Options are really good.

An option to disable this would be appreciated.

Feel free to leave the option enabled for new people but give us old farts the ability to turn it off. As long as the option is there, all's good, even with a few mutters from some.

This is in reference to the recent update on 5/13/14.

This update added hovering popup tooltips to everything. Everything.

I might be alone here but I know what the symbols on the overview represent. Anyone playing the game more than a month does. *Contains loot items* - Great, thanks..

Can this be disabled? I have looked for an option to do it however I can't seem to find it. I have quite possibly overlooked it.

If this can't be disabled, make it so it can please.

+1. Signed for an off switch.

Oh really? That's a jump gate. All these years playing this game and I had no idea. Thanks Obama CCP. Ugh

I demand tooltip in the character selection screen.

How am I supposed to know what I'm clicking on?

It needs to say "This is Character".

On a serious note, a tooltip with Alliance and Corp of a pilot in local would be awesome.

EVE players wanting an option to turn off an annoying feature? Why does that sound familiar?

All I can say is get in line; we've been waiting nearly a year for our off switch.

Seriously though, I hope this gets addressed as the tooltips are bothersome, but CCP will probably tell you the same thing: an option to disable such a feature is a "cop out" (basically CCP code for "we won't admit we screwed up").

Why a switch on/off? Because the new animation doesn't add anything to gameplay and it's graphically annoying. In other words, it's worse than bad: it's useless. Simple as that.     _ - Kina Ayami_
