that's it.

you forgot it will be alot more cap stable too. but even so the vindicator price will rise to reflect the new awesomeness that it will be

I have a pre-buff fit (did it atleast 4 months ago) of 2.5k dps and 200k ehp. Seriously worried what this thing would do now...

your head is worth billions in implants

how much does your vindi cost 40-60 bil?

6-8.

Sorry, but if you think random people will just go out and hand over 6b for one ship that isn't a capital - you'r mistaken. Sure, I could just almost empty my wallet now and buy one of those, but wait... A carrier, a dread, a triage carrier, and a set of 20 sniper battleships would be a batter idea and I'd have around 1-1.5b spare isk still.

Keep dreaming dude, if you think 2.5k dps for 6-8b is overpowered considering you have a paper tank, it's not a problem.

Then you realise you have less than 300 kills, and probably can't pvp anyway.

I don't think you guys are fully aware of what kind of EVE players use ships like these, and why. Especially when you mention "Vindicator" and "shoot structures" or "cap-stable" in a single sentence.

I wrote some true EVE stories! And no, they're not of the generic "my 0.0 alliance had lots of 0.0 fleets and took a lot of 0.0 space" sort. Check them out here:

And that is relevant why? Besides, not everyone is a KM whore. I rarely take part in blobs too. And for the past months even when we were war decced I didn't care to hunt the war deccers down. Griefers tend to run when they see a vindicator even now and even when it's solo.

You, dear sir, mark peoples pvp skill by amount of kills and think that it's average for people to have a few bil isk in their wallets for toys.

You are either :

A: TROLL
B: A russian
C: A lord of bots
D: Too wealthy and stupid in real life and spending money on a game because your life is so boring.
E: All of the above.

Personally, so far it seems it's A.

It's okay. If he's not a troll the killmail will be extra precious come winter since it will have those juicy implants in it, and, if he is a troll, well, it's EVE; there are a ton of troll newbs in EVE. This wouldn't be the first

You're an idiot, lots of us fly around in fairly pimp clones in overly fit ships, I mean, my alliance alone has a full fleet doctrine built around 700 million isk tengu hulls, thats before implants, and thats a fleet that can top 100 ships.

Just because you're a coward and won't fly around in anything nice and would rather buy that list of ships you spouted off, don't try to pigeon hole the rest of the game into your cramped little corner.

Let me tell you about my 5 billion isk pilgrim, or the ridiculous nano sac i used to own and its clone, or the crystal clone i have now, ....it goes on and on, but some of us actually do use all the stuff your too scared to undock with, and we do it every day.

Malcanis - Without drone assign, the slowcat doctrine will wither and die.

I'd fly with you. I have several 2 Billion ISK Tengu's but don't wanna fly them with a bunch of guys in frigates...

Vindicators and ship fittings of this price are usually an indicator for empire war deccing :)

A lot of empire war deccing Corps do fly ships in this price tag. They win because opponent is not able and willing to put enougth cash on the table to counter these highly priced ships.... royal flush anyone :)

Currently the vidi still needs some target painters to carry it's full potential. After the patch surely less target painters :>
This ship found it's perfect niche where it is the king of the hill.

Same for kronos. Also very popular at docking games :D 3 large Neuts can hurt ^^

The Vindicator is and will still be my favourite subcapital ship in EVE. I love everything about it, its facemelting dps, the fact that it can make a 6 man BC gang run from you once you land on their gate, and it looks good overall, the megathron hull is a nice looking ship. I can't wait to finish training for mine, still 5-6 months to go till its perfected...

Sorry for the Necro btw, but I felt like I had to comment.

If you manage to actually get on top of the enemy with before being blown up, sure, it can do some good dps. If, you can get on top of them...

I've been thinking of getting a vindi for getting some good ol' fashioned pve... But then I realized kronos, while heavier on skills, is a MUCH better choice.

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

It's a lot better now, although compared to the Mach, it's still a bit underwhelming imho.
