[FFA] The Crossing Zebras Spring Fling - 17th May @ 19.00 UTC

This coming Saturday, the 17th May, Crossing Zebras Podcast & feature site, invite YOU to come to our Spring Fling. A public FFA event sponsored by the good people at EVE-Bet.

The basic details are:

When: Saturday 17th May 2014
Time: 19.00 UTC till late
Where: Hysera
What: Frigates, Destroyers and Cruisers
Ingame Channel: CZ Community FFA

Yes guys, its in lowsec. However that low sec is connected to highsec by 2 gates so you can come in at your leisure.
Prefered ships are T1 Frigates, T1 Destroyers and T1 Cruisers, and its these hull classes that win you the prizes on offer!

For those wishing to attend but not able to provide too many of your own ships, thanks to our sponsors we have many ships to hand out on the night.

As we are allowing different ship classes to attend, we will like other FFAs run on a schedule of sorts, for 2hrs from 19.00 its Frigates only; At 21.00 Destroyers get added to the mix; and at 22.00 Cruisers can come into play, this gives everyone of all skill levels a chance to participate on a reasonably level playing field.

I look forward to seeing many many of you in system on the night.

Is there a plan to clear the Oshaima gate camp? A channel for receiving information about the event in game?

1) Use Oisio gate - next to Osh, some 100 AU from each other in Hysera. However, Im sure I'll rope a few of my buddies into shooting some idiots.

Op success.

Around 1500 kills in system it looks like - many many many need to be posted to the prize board - some small fleets tearing it up, some big dogs who came to play in organised fleets and shinies and proceeded to fight each other while the FFA raged around them.

All in all an amazing night, thanks to our sponsors at EVE-Bet and all who turned out.

I'll start working on the prize winners during this week. So watch this space.
