The hardest thing I have ever had to do

Tonight I said farewell to a group of people whom I not only genuinely care about, but have grown to love. Why after only flying with these people after only 5 months did i harbor depression, sadness, and cry while saying farewell in corp. Well I will tell you.
Although I am less than a year old in this game I have come to learn one thing about EVE. You come to depend on the guy above you and below you in corp chat. You talk to them in mumble (and sometimes facebook) almost on a daily basis. And Finally when all in a fleet, and the proverbial poop hits the fan, you come to rely on the purple bracket to your left and right, front and back. EVE is unlike any other game, And i learned tonight just how powerful the connections you make in game truly are. Saying goodbye was like the final day of high school. You know you would talk to them again, or see them in passing but never would you all just be hanging out on the lawn, or outside station, laughing in comms.

Thank you Rifterlings and Point Blank Alliance for 5 months that I will forever hold dear in my heart, You will all be missed terribly and I am deeply honored and humbled to have flown with you all

Part of me wants to write "good story" and part of me wants to point you in the direction of Evemail.

I'm so conflicted.

In any case, these are the experiences, in player run Corps rather than NPC Corps, that will help improve the retention rate of new players to the game. Hopefully the revamp of the NPE will include exposure to the benefits of working with other players instead of alone.

So Rifterlings/PBA doesn't have their own forum.
That's shameful.

That's the best part about playing EVE. Oh, and really dirty pr0n links that make you question humanity, but that goes without saying.

Hello Friend!

I am a Nigerian prince. I need as many upvotes as possible to settle an agreement with my captor. If I get enough he will free me. If I am free I will give whoever upvoted me a beelion Isk. Please help! (Photo for proof)

Yes, he liked himself better...you know, like every good EvE player....we are selfish bastards. But hey, he is a truly loyal...sentimental...new millenium metro man, he feels the need to shout it out....so everyone knows.

So you couldn't make money with them, or while still being a part of the corp/alliance? Money over everything I guess.

As an owner of 21 characters spread across 7 accounts, I must recommend you join back with your friends and use alts to grind ISK.

Once you get enough skillpoints and alts you can do everything on your own.

Confirming this. With enough alts you can even become CSM despite no one else voting for you.

Gonna blow your mind right here buddy: You can have more than one character in Eve. Even more than one account!

I'm not sure why you reduced yourself to tears to leave a group to do industry on your own.

Some people don't actually enjoy going the easy way. :)

They enjoy growing a character and dealing with the consequences their decisions have. (:
