I'm in much the same boat; avoiding PVP and solo playing. So far I've only been killed once by a player. And they were nice enough to let me pick which ship they would destroy! :)

But X3 really is a viable option, a beautiful creation. I bought the Steam version then installed a modded version with economy fixes, etc.

Everyone says they hate pvp. Then they get a taste of it. O, the joy.

Thanks for reminder. So there are 3 servers already TQ. Serenity and SISI. I forgot about Serenity. Well... At least there is hope then, where there are 3, there is always room for more. Time will tell...

You know you've just exposed yourself as a troll, do you? :-) There is no way a non-troll would consider the existence of test server, a bunch of dev servers and two live servers (being split only due to chinese law) as a sign that developers are going to allow to spawn a thousands of empty servers with no economy and no real reason to play.

Oh btw, if you want likeminded people on your server, that is industrialists - tell me, who is actually going to buy stuff from you and your likeminded peers? In your ideal world there are no (combat) pvpers, and mission runners don't lose their ships too often. Obviously, you don't mean it seriously, as again, non-troll person would think about consequences of such suggestion.

Also, no decay? What do you think losing of PVP ships is? Oh yes, I know, it does not EXACTLY fill the definition of decay, therefore it can't be decay, even if - as a game mechanic - it works in exactly same way, forcing people to buy new stuff, making economy live.

But well, why to bother. People have explained to you the importance of combat PVP for economy, you didn't listen. People have explained you why your suggestion would not work, yet you again didn't listen. People have pointed you to other games, you refused them and still want to stick with the game that is a complete opposite of what you think it is. You simply ignore any piece of advice you got. Conclusion - you are either extremely narrow minded, or a troll.
