Eve launcher only shows Yahoo! [Solved]

Ok bit of an odd problem, but my eve launcher is now a search engine, no access to the options menu. It is for all practical purposes, a web browser, and every time I start it, it opens at a page of yahoo search results for "none". Literally no clue wtf is going is on

Is there anyway of fixing this? I've used the repair tool, and would rather leave a full reinstall as a last resort to avoid having go through all my overview and settings.

yeah i got the same thing, no idea why. have you contacted CCP directly?

I managed to sort it out, went to internet explorer options (which I don't use so not sure how this happened) and went Options>Connections>LAN settings and unchecked the use proxy server option. I guess the eve launcher uses IE at some point :/. Did the same in firefox but it made no difference.

I think the immunization option in spybot S&D was what changed this setting as it's the only thing I did recently, but cant be sure, all better now hope it works for you.
