YAY! GOG now has this wonderful gem of the past , I screamed in delight so high my wife rushed to me asking what was wrong and I showed her the pixelated cockpit screenshots and ... looked at me oddly and left Bear

I loved this game so much back in the day, with the awesome PC Speaker beeping, memories!

Just wanted to share Big smile

F117-A Nighthawk Stealth Fighter 2.0

If you read the reviews , you will notice why this game is so fondly remembered by old gamers. Stay low, stay hidden, move slow, evade, alter flight waypoints, hit from afar and get out fast, keep door bays closed, keep your signatures as low as possible, if they never knew what happened, you got more points!!!

Enable full realism, realistic landings, dust off the joystick, keep an eye on radars, remember which type of radars the mission briefing gives you, skirt them or fly directly into them to avoid signature increase, glide just a bit over the ground for maximum camo , ahhhh ... hours wasted in sheer fun back in the day.

I remember it even used to have one of those OLDSKOOL "Boss keys" to totally pause the game and put the screen in black so no one casually walking by at the office would find out you were playing games instead of working ....

I miss Lucas Arts now. Sad

Damn you Disney!

And F117 never really played it but my dad played this and M1 tank platoon to death.

Dude, Disney played the role of Child Protective Cervices in that scenario, removing intellectual property's from their abusive drunken father(G.Lucas).

The studio was tragic to hear about certainly but I think we all knew it was coming when Disney got their hands on them.

I do happen to know that a few of their senior animation staff (John Huikku for one) are actually fans of the Lucas arts And it's not as if Disney are beneath cashing in on sentimentality,
just wait for them to get bored with star wars and they'll eventually start looking at the interesting stuff.

I love GOG.com. I have bought several games from them over the years. DRM free and you can download it as many times as you need too if you ever uninstall it or change computers.

I keep my windows 98 on old computer for old games like that. I have Baldurs Gate I and II originals with with Throne of Bhaal expansion, but without Tales of the Sword Coast expansion for Baldurs Gate I. I played it many times with different characters, I remember rolling out characters for 999 time in hope of making perfect 18:00 AND at least 16 with other abilities. Lol

And killing Drizzt Do'Urden. Cool

That was an awesome game. My main still carries a quote from Minsk in the bio.

BTW: If you're up for buying the game again, it's now on Steam as an enhanced edition: http://store.steampowered.com/app/257350/

(The first one has been enhanced for modern Windows as well.)

Wow lucky you, I played it a long time ago but gave it to someone since when I moved into my new country.

The dynamic campaign system was, and is still, the best.
