The event is 7 days long. As of the upcoming downtime, 6! of those days will have passed.

The Math: 100 (Percent) / 7 (days) = 14.29 (percent per day) 14.29 * 6 = 85.74% is needed after 6 days to be "on track" (Not taking increased weekend activity into account)

According to the event page:

  1. Ore: DONE! Good job Miners! \o/ We all get 2 more Gecko's from this section!

  2. Science and Industry: Should make it, they're about square on target. Keep up those indutry jobs! I'd hate to have a dip happen on Monday and cause us to fall short Roll

  3. NPC Bounties: Both Bounties and ISK Destoryed need some serious help Sad
  4. ISK Destroyed: Both Bounties and ISK Destoryed need some serious help Sad


It's really looking like neither Bounties or Isk Destroyed are going to make it, Short of some seriously dedicated player actions.

We tried tonight, it was fun. Ty Goons for being good hosts and escorting us out of VFK.

so you basically want us to have a new Asakai / B-R so you can get some more lowsy drones? feel free to buy yourself some capitals inshure them, undock press self destruct and shoot them once with an alt before the ship blows up, so it counts as pvp.

Because mining is the lowest hanging fruit in the game? Oh, and it can and most often is botted?

Massive Titan battles are a little bit higher up. And you can't exactly bot them.

Beware!
This is just another crude Goonswarm plot.

They certainly have stockpiled Geckos and are now BLOWING UP NOTHING to drive the prices up by denying us explosions. Only our valiant HiSec miners can help us now mitigate the effects.
And Goonswarm can do nothing but sit and watch them mine - because if they go ganking miners, this will unlock more Geckos and ruin their plans.

This is the miners' revenge for Burn Jita and Hulkageddon!!!!

This is pretty much a non statement.

Yeah, you can't just throw away the most expensive thing in the game for no reason. What's your point?

If you mean "actual ship to ship combat" is in last place, well, I'd point out that the weekend just started. And yeah, not being able to cheat, and bot that activity kinda does take a bite out of it.

I wonder just how low the mining would be if they disallowed anyone who might be botting?

Well I welped a fleet I was FCing yesterday (not deliberately) contributing 1.7 Billion to the cause and we lost another Billion an hour ago.

We'll do the best we can by being bad at l33t pvp.

We are running a fleet tomorrow too. Will hopefully make someone else contribute instead.
