Is there a delay when using a new 60 day 2x plex retail code?

can't really be any easier.

You should have received codes to input and not items that magically
spawn into your redeem thingy just by buying them.

Yes I received codes that put the plex into my redeem items after an hour or so delay. I bought from an official CCP reseller, not from CCP directly. I asked the seller about this and he said that CCP no longer uses the ETC system and have switched to this new system. Some other sellers say the same, I think you just got old stock.

So you applied the codes somewhere,
but not in the actual ingame menu I was using?

I'm sure you petitioned already ...

I tried to apply the code into the escape menu INGAME. A menu came up and told me this code is not for use here and gave me a link to apply the code into EVE account management. It accepted the code, as EVE retail code 2 plex. Then after an hour or so delay, 2 plex appear in redeem items.
