This looks really interesting. I hope CCP does more server wide events like this in the future!

Very cool. I do hope we at least have more of this class soon... they're just so amazing.

they could do with... a bit of balancing though. right now there is no reason to use them over other drones.

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

the bots will have the ore covered, i'd worry more about the isk destroyed total out of any of those.

you mean other than keeping ship prices low so you can pvp for longer without having to buy more plex or do boring isk making?

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise

CCP will have set the goals to be achievable at the average rate of increase of all those things. I've never once seen one of these promotions where the "final unlock" was not unlocked.

When I found out that there was a way to "earn" more Geckos, I asked "Who do I have to kill?"

Looks like the tallies are very precisely calibrated-- I can only assume that the first of each is unlocked based on a marginally below-average week, while the upper tier is slightly beyond an average week.

Yes no reason, except for the fact that they a minimum of at least two times better in every area than Ogre IIs
