Residents of C&P!

A grave insult has been made to our community.

Erotica 1 is not on the EVE Monument in Iceland.

You can verify this here: http://eve.com/monument/name-finder/

Now, why is this such a problem?

Well, on the monument information page (http://eve.com/monument/about-the-monument/) it states

Quote:
This list of active, paying players will be captured on March 1st, 2014—no exceptions.

Ripard Teg's article on the Bonus Room didn't even come out until March 24th.

CCP made an exception to add insult to injury and even took this slander out of game.

This is a horrible tragedy to befall such a well-known and loved EVE personality that gave his all in this internet spaceship game.

EDIT: Erotica 1 was the highest SP character on the Account. Will post API info later.

The monument will stand atop a half meter tall metal-plated concrete platform that will have the names of all the “main characters” of all active EVE Online players etched upon it.

clearly erotica 1 wasn't the main character on the account.

Well, I'm pretty sure they judged main character by SP, and Erotica 1 had 40m SP in March.

I'm pretty sure Ero was podding himself down and lost alot of SP in the process. Also, it's more then likely it wasn't the highest sp character on the account. And lastly...who gives a ****?

Dear lord, please help me deal with the insufferable....

That was long after.

And the other characters on the account (based on API) was not even a million each.

Banned characters tend to be excluded from many of the extras CCP does for the playerbase, this isn't anything personal and fits in with what most would expect with regard to banned characters. Also...discussing banned characters, expecting a lock.

as pointed out in the OP, the ban was after the monument deadline date.

Might it be that the name is on there but the namefinder does not search for banned chars?

That would be tough to verify without knowing how CCP arranged the names.

if it bothers you so much, go and search every individual name on the monument.

I'm not surprised considering what I've heard about how they handled everything. Internet Space Detective Ripard Teg probably told them he didn't want Erotica 1's name on the monument.

Apparently the char with the most killpoints was put on the monument.

Who cares. But thanks for linking the name finder. I didn't know it existed. Cool stuff!

Good. Don't need that individual tarnishing our game nor the monument. For the best.

Which is why Ripard did that in the first place, we already knew that.

There is no problem, thats good news, spiced with griefer tears.

Only a small group of incorrigible griefers and possibly this guy himself is whining and thats perfect this way.

In my opinion this guy doesn't deserve a place on this monument, this guy was a shame to the community.
