hello,

I have been trading on and for more than 3 years. currently most of my isk is tied up in assets so im looking to setup a loan.

what is the typical expected monthly return of a fully collateralized loan?

how do i go about setting it up, i have a stock pile of gallante towers i want to use as collateral.

please help

thank you

2 Billion percent.

I don't actually know, but there are plenty of loan services. You could try BMBE if its fully collateralized (few threads down, son).

5% generally seems achievable on fully collaterised loans, 3% if you're lucky, approaching 10% will likely see it fill quicker.

Gallente towers are going to be an interesting choice however. Whilst I haven't checked prices I'm guessing that due to certain current conditions there is likely something of a downward pressure on gal tower prices. As such you're going to have to go some way to convince people that come repayment time you won't just think "why give back 3b isk to get back my towers which are now worth just 2.5b?" - ie. are you simply trying to sell your towers at above market prices rather than get a loan. You might find yourself having to over-collaterise to compensate for this.

Similarly, if certain current conditions change there could conceivably be a rebound in gal tower prices and you're going to want to ensure that your collateral holder is minded to give back those towers which are now worth 3.5b in exchange for 3b isk.

As to structure, the easiest and simplest would be for the creditor to hold the collateral. If you have concerns about said creditor regarding the second scenario above, or if there are multiple creditors, then you may need to find a third party collateral holder. In the market resources sticky links to evelopedia there's a link to basic template that Hexx proposed many moons ago, that and perusing recent loan offerings should give an idea as to how best to propose your offering.
