Small Mercoxit WH spawns ?

As CCP has recognized the need for high end ores types in Low-Sec space (ABC Ores) in the form of small spawning sites I would like to see the same thing in WH space with Mercoxit. I believe this would make WH space more appealing to Miners and more viable for Industrialists working on high end T2 manufacturing. The way I see it they would only produce a small amount of mercoxit from small sites it would not be overly advantageous but rather keep us in line with the rest of the changes made in the summer patch.

With the Kronos release we are also expanding some of the formerly nullsec-only sites, namely the small Arkonor and Bistot sites, into low security space. The Hedbergite, Hemorphite and Jaspet will be on the more common end of the lowsec spectrum, while the Arkonor and Bistot sites will be on the rarer side.

We are also making some adjustments to the composition of three key high end ores. Arkonor, Bistot and Crokite (known as ABC ores) are three of the rarer ores in New Eden, and will be enjoying increased yields this summer.

We are adding Mexallon to Arkonor, increasing the Pyerite in Bistot, and increasing the Nocxium in Crokite. These changes should help cover some of the holes in mineral supply for local producers in nullsec, as well as increasing the return for “ninja” miners taking trips into lowsec and nullsec space.

Not sure you're aware of it or not however Mercoxit spawns in certain grav sites starting from C3 space and higher.

Yup! But the amount is always really small. I'm only one person, but I alone can clear the Mercoxit out of any wormhole site in just a few hours. Any corp thats primary income is mining isn't going to be happy with the amount of Mercoxit found in wormhole space.

I was not aware of Mercoxit spawning in WHs as i have never ever seen it even when living in C3's thanks for informing me. so after doing a little more research and seeing feedback from both of you I would still like to see a bit put into C1/C2 holes and an increase to the amount you see in C3 and above. Again not adding enough to compete with null spawns but just enough to keep mining in WHs competitive with the new chages.

I didn't realize anyone mined mercoxit. I never found it to be worth the time, was always easier and more profitable to mine ark or bistot and buy the small amounts of morphite necessary for any build. Of course, that was 4 years ago, but it doesn't seem like the morphite market has changed dramatically, though zyd seems to have fallen through the floor.

You're young, you'll adjust. I'm old, I'll get used to it.
