Seems like everyone uses it either as HAM, Neut (cloaky or mini bhaal) or the ocasional Covert Logi.

Not much love for the 6 rainbow lazor setup.
Would a smallish drone bay fix that ? if not, what kind of bonus do you think it need ?



I wouldnt mind a 15-20(4 Lights) drone bay. I dont see it happening eiher way though

Like what needs to be looked at more? The only T3 I keep seeing in incursion fleets is the Loki.

How to fix the Legion:

Take all the subsystems that add more then one midslot. Replace one of the mids with a lowslot. Done.

Explanation: Legion is an armor tanked, (mostly)turret-oriented weapon platform with no backup weapons (ie drones). It's damage bonuses are mediocre - this is normal for lasers and not what I'm complaining about. It needs slots for tank, DPS, and tracking on any combat fit. And yet, in many of it's subsystem configs, it has more mid slots then it has lows. I've actually made shield tanked Legions because of this, and had them perform better then their armor counterparts. Legion is good at two things: a HAM brawler and cap warfare. It barely beats Tech 2 cruisers in other roles, and with the Stratios available it's position as an Amarr combat explorer is also inferior to the cheaper standard-hull alternative. It makes no sense that an Amarr ship with Amarr bonuses gets a Caldari slot layout. Just give it the slots to do what the Amarr do and everything will be happy.

Also make the covert subsystem not suck. Seriously, that things embarrassing. So is the drone projector.

Laser hac Legion is epic. Great damage protection and better than a proteus in many positions. Covert and drone subsystems are awful though.

Right now the Legion only works in a pulse fit for incursions, a HAM fit for small time PVP, link fit and some doctrines. What the Legion needs the most is a dronebay for its laser sub and the drone sub being unfucked. If that happens (and I'm sure it will) then the ship will be a whole lot better.
