So, still no word on opening "the door?"

The most irritating thing about CQ to me, apart from its uselessness, is the fact that there is nowhere in the hanger from which I could have the view I allegedly have of my ship from it. That railing is total nonsense. I realize that CCP don't care, but even before having the door opened, I would like CQ to be properly integrated into the design of the hanger as seen from the normal ship spinning perspective.

What they should use the "Door" for is an alternative to biomassing...

Just have an airlock... and get yourself sucked right out into space .... big windows for those tear-jerking space-widows waving "buy-bye".... would make a great cinegraphic sequence...

But they have, its a dead feature, they are focussing on spaceships and shooting each other in the face on planets, WiS is dead as far as the old CQ is concerned, its just legacy code taking up space now :P

yup.

maybe they could attach all the WoD assets to the door. Open the door and go into a lot of random WoD buildings.

Definitely would like to open the CQ door and wander around.
Maybe even a subset of skills that would let me cut an opponent lol.

They should blow banned players out of airlocks and leave their corpses permenantly floating off station as landmarks.

Biomassed alts, maybe the door opens and reprocesses the character into Quafe or something. Or an exotic dancer v0v

I would have done this

Phase 1: Open the door and maybe add some desk with the agents behind them.
Phase 2: Add other fluff like a bar and maybe a store with station market goods in them.
Phase 3: Add doors to the Valkyrie hanger.
Phase 4: Give me housing of some sort.

It all really doesnt seem like it would be that hard.

Maybe "The Door" and "The Gate" are the same. The Door Opens, everyone dies / jumps to Jove / becomes a ruler of their own 'verse.
