Greets.

I'm out in space trying to fix my ship up and it is complaining I don't have enough paste to start repairing modules when I have 45 units of paste. Has there been a change or anything that means I need at least 50 to start repairing something that'll probably need 5 or so to actually repair? If i'd have known I would have brought more.

They redid nanite paste awhile back to take a lot more to repair modules - I usually run with at least 200 in the hold. I think it got corrospondingly cheaper to, but not sure. 45 does sound a bit low to rep up a thoroughly toasted module, though that of course depends on your skills.

That change was quite a while ago. You can thank PI for it.P

More or less depends on the slot type/module

Already had that issue with half burned guns. Once I took some more and repaired, the initial amount was more than enough.

Maybe some bug not taking in account your skills whatsoever. -sometimes tells you you don't have enough nanite pasta with 50 units so you go get some more, then once repaired you've only burned 5 or 10 units.

Out of curiosity, how high do you lot have the support skills trained up? I find myself frequently overheating the Loki since the T3s seem meant to be used as such. I go through a decent amount of paste, but the boost in DPS, etc. is really addictive isn't it?

i think you need the theoretical max repair amount of paste to begin the repair, even if it doesnt actually take that much or even close to it.

thats why i always carry around 200-400 so theres always enough to repair the heavyest mods like mwd
