With the addition of 3 more low slots to the Prospector in comparison to the Venture, battle versions will be better as armor tanked ships, rather than shield buffered versions used on the Venture. This will also open a mid-slot up for a web or other utility modules (eg. target painter, tracking disruptor, cap booster).

I haven't done the math on any fits yet, but this looks like a fun ship for some lol pvp. Should be able to catch a few people out, particularly in lowsec.

Something like this perhaps (can be fit with cov-ops for travel and then refit off a mobile depot):

Light Ion Blaster II/125 mm Railgun II
Light Ion Blaster II/125 mm Railgun II
Small Nosferatu II

Experimental 1MN Microwarpdrive I
Warp Scrambler II
X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator

Damage Control II
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II

Or fit with Rails for more projection and switch a stabilizer for a tracking enhancer II.

On the downside, it gives up shield extending, where shields still have the most HP, but provides more flexibility as a pvp ship. Will be interesting to do the math on this and see if it all fits.

I too, am rather fond of the AC with hybrid damage mods setup. However, the additional lows give the ship some oomf, the ability to fit a shield tank with a disruptor, mwd, and some tracking enhancers with the damage mods to make the damage projection that much further.

Oh crap my bad, but if I want to fit hybrid turrent bonusing modules on a projectile turret fit ships, that's my prerogative.

Switch guns to Blasters or Rails. My mistake (I'm l33t I tell you)....OopsOopsOops
