Eve-like star cluster found?

I've always imagined Eve to be like the cluster mentioned in the article below.

Just a group of stars, several dozen light years across surrounded by empty space.

Really interesting article. It still blows my mind that our galaxy just orbits an SMBH at the center, driven nearly flat like a pancake.

Looks like this cluster was going too fast to remain in the pancake..

gravity slingshot from two black holes tends to do that.
