Morning Guys,

I've got 3 Tengu's, I set them up for different things and a couple of them are made for PvP. In the process of looking for fits and trying things out myself I've made a couple myself that I'd like your two isk on.

The one was a pretty standard HAM fit, active tank, MWD, had decent resists and was putting out over 800 DPS, I cant post the exact fit as for some reason I didnt save it :(

But last night as I was trying out some new fits I put together this, flame away or give me some constructive criticism if you will please! I'll give you reasoning why its fit the way it is as i go through.

High power
1x Improved Cloaking Device II I want a true solo fit
1x Sisters Expanded Probe Launcher for finding safed players and sites while roaming
5x Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II DPS due to this fit only having 5 launchers and 3 lows

Medium power
1x Pithum C-Type Medium Shield Booster 218 hp/3s
1x Gistum C-Type 10MN Afterburner I've heard dual prop fits can save your ass if/when your MWD gets shut off
1x Gistum B-Type 10MN Microwarpdrive
1x Warp Disruptor II Long point to stay out of web neut range and stay within HAM range
1x Shadow Serpentis Stasis Webifier 16km hot
1x Gistum C-Type EM Ward Amplifier Plugging a hole

Low power
3x Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Squeezing out the DPS

Rig Slot
1x Medium Bay Loading Accelerator I
2x Medium Warhead Rigor Catalyst I

Sub System
Defensive - Adaptive Shielding
Electronics - Emergent Locus Analyzer
Offensive - Accelerated Ejection Bay
Propulsion - Intercalated Nanofibers
Engineering - Power Core Multiplier

Now, this was made from my left over subs, I dont think its too bad, I might test it out today. Some stats!
DPS: 660.2/776 HOT
RES: 57/84/75/58
SPEED: MWD: 1244/1756 HOT - AB: 532/689 HOT
EHP: According to the eve fitting tool 14729?

You talking lowsec pvp? If so you swap the adaptive shielding for a supplemental screening and the power core multiplier for a capacitor regeneration matrix. This will dump the cloaking device and give you one extra low and one extra mid. In the low i recommend a damge control and in the min a capacitor battery. If you go with the microwarp drive you can crash gates so you won't need the cloaky and sneaking up on people never works anyway especially with a prototype.
With the cap bat & regen matrix combo neuts will no longer be a problem for you as you will be able to laugh off even a large neut.

If you have a link alt and crystals that might be worth PVP'ing in.

If you don't, you're looking at an expensive kill-mail.

dude, a rifter with a neut can kill that set-up. Never fly ANYTHING without a cap booster!

Tengus for lowsec usually look lke this:
5 launchers, 100mn AB, longpoint, web, shieldbooster, invuln, cap booster. 3 BCS and 2 nanos in the lows.

Flying them feels like steering a soap block with a V8 strapped to it.

He who asks on the EVE Forums for advice on fitting a Tengu for PvP is not ready to fly a Tengu in PvP.
He who seeks solo PvP in a cruiser in lowsec will be solo when he finds PvP in lowsec, but the gatecamp he jumps into will not.
