I might give the SOE missions a go now that all the hype for the Astero etc has died down.

Thanks all for the hints and tips about the bonus room.

Not much point now. LPs are still worth a bit more but the huge cash outs are gone.

I am still regularly getting over two to one ISK to LP. Sold an Astero at Jita today for 82 mill which is 64 mill profit for 30K LP. Sold a batch of Sisters core probe launchers yesterday, also at Jita, for about 42 mill each which is a similiar ISK ratio.

For a 0.5 mission Lanngisi mission I usually get about 9470 LP which works out at 20 million ISK for the LP versus 8 to 10 mill per mission for something like Fed Navy.

so .. no you do not get the 30 or 40 mill ISK per mission from LP like a few months back when all the "hype" was strong - but SOE missions are still worth running.

Don't mean to hijack this post but I don't feel this needs me to make a separate thread. What are the new go-to money missions these days? I only ask as I am returning and know a few before hand would be greatly helpful. The only one so far that I have noticed is Gone Berserk is great with its ~20mill in loot

The money missions are the ones that will kill your empire standings. The Enemies Abound chain is probably worth a half-billion.

Lvl 5 missions still give out a lot when you total everything up, but its better to do these in a small group rather then solo. I do them on my low sec toon and we usually run 3 people + 1 of us has a cov ops scout / tackle alt in distance or gate entrances. The total return per time is pretty good.

To keep the standings from going down we do the following: get on a fast frig, go to multiple agents, pick missions that involve only and exclusively pirates and read mission guides before accepting to check for any standing loss. Then we run missions, if system is quiet we will do multiple missions in the same target system, less travel, more ISK per time. Turn in all missions.

Also, SOE missions will often raise your Gallente faction but not cause any faction loss.

Another option is to use a FW toon and pick missions against the faction you are already fighting anyways, sell the tags or buy stuff using them + LP and sell that.

Another option is the faction Epic Arcs, they vary in difficulty and have some huge pay outs, Mimmitar is easiest, Ammar 2nd, Gallente 3rd, Caldari is very difficult but its payout is really high, read up on them if you decide to go for 1. They do incurr some faction losses but you can offset that by alternating the chains and they can be repeated 1 time every 3 months after final completion. Also, they have no expiration timers on the mission offers.

In the Midst of Deadspace 1-3 gives an average total of 40m from salvage and tags.
Damsel in Distress average is 13.5m
Mordus Headhunters is 18.5m
Gone Berserk is 20-23m
The Blockade is 14m
Those are just a few from logs I started making last year.

As mentioned, generally the faction missions (which hurt your standings to someone(s)) are the most lucrative. Especially if you haul the tags to where people most need them and set up sell orders rather than just flog them. Even better if you have a support char who can use the tags to build shiny kit.

I have bases in good but quiet mission hubs in all four main faction space areas, with jump clones. That way I don't need to worry about passing up good faction missions, because I can just hop about to balance standings with minimum fuss.

Just finished the AE bonus room.
Lots of BS bounties, I should have counted... After I turned in the mission, my last tick was 10 million ISK.
It is solo-able with a medi-ocre Navy Raven.

That bonus room used to have a chance of dropping good lootz.
The station or something, we got a Snake implant or Crystal implant, I don't recall the specifics. Back then it was worth over 300 mil, and split 3 ways it was a noobs dream come true. Many years ago... I don't recall when CCP nerfed the drop.

After routinely getting routed in the AE bonus, I succeeded without a warp-out in an MJD, cruise-missile, passive/buffer-rigged Rattlesnake. My tactics were basically to jump, primary the missile towers, then lay down low-transversal drone fire on incoming rats until the MJD was ready to go again.
