Greetings. I'm looking for a 500m ISK loan. Looking to pay back over 2 months, at 15% interest per month on principal. If interested, feel free to shoot me a mail in game. Same procedure if you have any questions regarding the loan, how I intend to pay it back, etc, etc. Thanks.

I convoed OP and want to do a quick fact overview, so investors can make up their mind better without having to go through the evemail stuff:

- OPs char is 8 days old.
- OP claims this char is his main
- OP claims he owns 10m isk and a frigate
- OP cant loan ISK from his 20 corpmates because they are "poor"
- OP claims that he wants to invest 500m into a larger ship.
- OP writes 2 minutes later that the larger ship he wants to buy is a bestower (value 600k isk) for flying courier missions and mining.
- OP claims to be short on RL cash and that he needs everything in excess of 600k to purchase a PLEX.
- OP believes that he will earn 500m plus interest by mining and missioning in a bestower.

Way to make me sound like a ****, by the by. I do have 10 million, which I would be glad to show anyone, this is my main, and my corpmates are poor. I have a frigate, I'll be using the cash on a Bestower, and I'll be using the remainder to purchase a PLEX. As for the delay that this kind gent so kindly notes, I'm multitasking and as such, a delay is expected. Last time I checked, people could do more than one thing at once. :) Also, I can pretty easily break down the math required to show that I'll make the money back.

With a Bestower:

54000/load = 756k ISK per load, which takes 60 minutes to complete, approximately. (This math is based off extrapolating from my current ship, which holds exactly 15 times less than the Bestower.)

8 hours a day: 6,048,000 per day. 30 days a month = 181,440,000 ISK a month.

10 hours a day: 7,560,000 per day. 30 days a month = 226,800,000 ISK a month.

I'll need to revise my loan for a 3 month term instead of a 2 month term. I had overestimated my overall haul. My apologies.

How exactly you plan to pay for the 2nd and 3rd PLEX during your 3 months term when u earn only a fraction of the PLEX value per month?

I can understand that people seem a bit cold to this Loan..
Sorry to say N'karr dont think this idea will fly, so I hope you dont mind me hijacking your tread!

Because I have a better idea for potential investors!

Loan me 258 Bil and I promise you I will repay you in a month time, I am just short on cash right now but when you hear my repayment plan I think (compared to 10 hours day hauling) you will find my idea plausiable.

Repayment plan:

I plan to visit these guys 3 times a day http://www.thespermbankofca.org at a 100$ a shot (unless I missed something on my quick calculation) I will be able to buy 17 plexes each day to sell (@500 mio) and repay you guys with.

I dont have any collateral, but if you want I can send you an sample first?

To clarify Tom's point, the old "I will use my RL cash to pay you back" line is the kiss of death in here. Basically it is saying "I don't think I can actually make this succeed, so I will guarantee it with a get-rich-quick option. I wish you the best in your hauling venture, but 10 hours/day of hauling is pretty mind-melting. It is a high burn-out potential activity, so people are most likely going to be wary.

I'm not sure how it was implied that I'm going to use RL cash to pay him back. I said that I'm short on RL cash right now. I won't be in the future. The loan is designed to keep me playing so that I don't lose time on training skills, etc, etc. I'll be able to purchase the in-game time myself in about a month's time.

As for the 10 hours a day hauling, I have recently had back surgery so I have lots of time to spare since most physical activity is impossible, so that doesn't really bother me. It's either that or watch TV.

And I understand people to be wary, and I understand their wariness. However, I had hoped there might be an individual who could take what I said at face value. There is little point in me ruining what little standing I have over a month a game time.

My advice would be to run missions in all your down time (bummer about the back!), or if you really like the hauling world, take a look at Red Frog Freight, maybe you can get in with them and make some real money hauling. The missions will give you a much bigger return, and in my opinion are more interesting. You could also look at some exploration.

With that much time on your hands and that kind of attention span, I really think that you could make your time work for you much better.
